Peer team of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) visited Ratnapith College from 25 to 27th October 2016 and re-accredited the College with B+ Grade. After three days assessment NAAC Peer Team in its report appreciated the College for its prolific academic ambience. In the NAAC exit meeting held on October 27, 2016 the Peer Team Chairperson, Prof. J.K. Mohapatra, former VC (Berhampur University), commended the incentives adopted by Principal, Dr. Subhash Barman, to give momentum of growth of the different teaching-learning, infrastructure, Career & Counselling and IT etc. for the students. The Peer Team lent charity as audience to assess the cultural geography of the College, observing the various music and dance performances presented and demonstrated by the students of the college during one of the 3 days routine wise visit. The Chairperson, with satisfaction of the talents of the students, further suggested to start courses in music and dance that students may avail scope and exposure. He also advised to introduce language laboratory to give English communication skill for the students. Relentless effort of the Principal and staff, GB and other stake holders to reorient the students to be able to adapt in the socio cultural paradigm shift of the globalised society, continues. The college authority, in close coordination with the local MLA (Shri Ashok Kumar Singhi), is preparing road map to open science stream in degree course in ½ years.
