The Academic and Discipline Management Cell of Ratnapith College plays the vital role to merge all academic activities and programs. Comprising experienced and dedicated faculty members, the cell plays a pivotal role in curriculum development course coordination and all academic planning.
MISSION OF THE ACADEMIC CELL:
The academic cell of a college is responsible for managing and smooth functioning of the academic activities in the college. The academic cell should focus on the activities like –
1. Academic Environment: Necessary steps should be taken to maintain academic environment in the college.
2. Guidance: Helping and providing supporting services to the students. Serving as a guide to the students, whenever necessary.
3. Academic Planning and Monitoring: Taking initiative about developmental plans and academic plans of college. Monitoring departmental activities and other activities such as class arrangement, examination and evaluation, utilization of resources etc.
4. Motivating: Motivating students to take active participation in academic activities and co-curricular activities. Also encourage them to identify their inner talent and potential.
5. Mediator: Build a smooth relationship between the students and teacher. Serving as a mediator between these two.
6. Academic Events & Activities : Taking students feedback, conducting review meetings, prepare academic calendar and class routine, arranging seminar, webinar, popular talks, memorial lectures etc.
7. Research Activities: Make environment and providing opportunities to the students and teachers to join in scholarly activities.
8. Innovative Techniques: Introducing innovative techniques, which will make the teaching-learning process more effective.
9. Empowering Society: Steps should take to make higher education accessible to the weaker section of the society and providing quality education to the next generation.
10. Academic Brilliance : Prepare students to play a vital role in nation building.
